A pair of George II brass candlesticks with what are described in The English Candlestick by Eloy Koldeweij as 'corner-lobe side-cut bases' (cat.149).
The stems and sockets with a brazing line running through; very nicley finnished beneath. Originally with twist eject mechanisms; one now in part absent, the other jammed.
