A pair of French bronze and ormolu regulateur table lamps. Probably Paris, circa 1840.
Later converted to electricity and now bereft of any original internal fittings. With a good, deep brown bronze patina and nicely finished and detailed gilt bronze details.
6.5 inch square bases x 23 inches high excluding the new lamp holder and tube.
