A George I Antique Silver Tankard is of plain tapering cylindrical form onto a spreading reeded base and a plain girdle encircles the body.
The tankard has a hinged domed lid with an impressive thumb-piece.
This tankard is slightly small than normal and is often call a “ladies tankard”.
