Pen, ink and watercolour on paper. Single sheet painted to one side with a view of Napoleon’s Paris from the south east with St Sulpice, Notre Dame and Les Invalides punctuating the distant skyline; the foreground populated by figures including two mounted Grenadiers à Cheval de La Garde Impériale; the other side painted with a mounted Dragoon officer in single combat with an Egyptian Mameluke. Framed and glazed.
