French miniature Exhibition style skeleton clock with alarm.

 Beautifully engraved frame standing on an ebonised oval base with original glass dome. 

Eight day movement with silk suspension and enamel dial with Roman numerals.  Pull wind for the alarm with the bell mounted underneath the base, pull cord for alarm setting.

This style of clock was first produced for the Great Exhibition held at Crystal Palace in 1851.  The clock is marked Ms. Honorables Exp. Paris, Londres on the base plate.  Circa 1870.
