A delightful matched set of four George III silver salts, all made by John Denziloe of London, consisting of two pairs, one pair dated 1793 and the other 1795. Each salt is of octagonal navette form with a moulded edge.

There is a fine wriggle engraved border at top of each salt which is repeated on the base. The set is engraved with the crest for Thornton. Each Salt has a gilt interior.
