Flemish scenes of activity on the river with sailing barges, fishermen and cranes. Within flowerhead borders, second half of the 18th century. In a modern giltwood frame with the remains of an old inscription 'Colchester' in the bottom centre. Bearing a label ‘Removed from Old Mourosa, standing in dining and … Colchester, 1979’.
