A firing glass, the ovoid bowl on a double-series opaque-twist stem and with a plain firing foot.
English circa 1770-80.
Height 11.1 cm.
A simple but clean and bright glass. The term ‘firing’ is used to describe the likeness to rifle fire when the glass is banged on the table following a toast.
