A fine Regency period ormolu and cut glass two tier chandelier, the upper tier with 21 cut glass drops hung around a chased circular boss and hanging from the original ceiling rose with adjustable length chain. the lower tier with six cut glass candle holders (one repaired), above a further chased circular boss hung with 48 larger cut-glass drops and a central glass drop-finial below.
This chandelier has been wired for electricity at some point in the past with bulb-holders both within the candle-holders and six further lights within the glass dome base. All of the fittings are still present but the wiring has been disconnected.
