A very fine quality Kingwood and lacquered brass two tier etagere.
France circa 1920.
The rectangular top quarter veneered in Kingwood with a crossbanded tulipwood border enclosed with a pierced brass gallery, held by four turned supports surmounted by pineapple finials with the lower conforming tier having a ribbed mould edge.
The sides having an X framed stretcher with central roundel with the whole being raised on turned legs and squat castors.
Extremely well constructed and rare to the market this etagere is in excellent condition having a fine colour to the well figured timber and nice original patination to the brasswork.
