Chippendale George III Girandoles, Circa 1765.
A fine pair of mid 18th Century carved giltwood Chippendale period two-light girandoles; the original symmetrical plates with the divided cartouche shaped frames; the sides with scroll and foliate carving each carved with an opposing ho-ho bird; scrolling foliate candle arms with foliate brass socles and drip pans above a scrolled foliate apron.
