Japanese Meiji-era Bronze Okimono by Miyao and depicting a Samurai.
A fine, late 19th Century Japanese statue by Miyao and depicting a Samurai warrior, likely a scout. He stands holding his helmet in his left hand, his right hand raised and protecting from the glare of the sunlight as he scans the horizon for threats.
His robes and armour are decorated with gold depictions of Mon, clouds and smoke and he carries his Tanto and Wakizashi at his waist.
