The piece is cast in two pieces which screw together, consisting of a shallow tray over a nicely proportioned tall plain stem. The tray is decorated with interlocking patterns typical of this period and the central reserve is exquisitely engraved with a holy figure ‘bestowing blessings on the house’. The piece is 11cms in height, diameter of the tray is 17.2cms, diameter of the base is 8.8cms and weighs 12.5 ozs approx.
