A fine walnut 19th Century Victorian period tufted leather chesterfield sofa.

English, circa 1870. 

A well drawn 7ft 19th century walnut chesterfield sofa, having good deep proportions, upholstered in a deep buttoned tan leather standing on the original walnut turned legs and castors to the front and back.

The shaped breakfront edge and out-scrolling arms being upholstered in a fine quality deep buttoned hand dyed leather hide.

The back and seat being sprung giving support and comfort when seated. Always a sign of quality having front and matching rear legs of turned walnut retaining their original collars and castors.
