An Exceptional and Impressive Flight Barr and Barr Worcester Vase, Circa 1820.
Of amphora form, the domed cover with a gilt flame finial over the vase with twin scrolled handles with applied white and gilt flowers & white pearl banding, applied gilt and white anthemion wrap around the base which is raised on a spreading circular foot with gilt gadroon border and on a square base. The whole is reserved upon a pale green apple ground. Two finely painted named scenes are set within raised gilded cartouches: "Virginia Water" and "Muckross Abbey-Great Lake Kilarney" Full marks under Flight Barr & Barr Royal Porcelain Works Worcester & impressed Crown & FBB.
