An Exceptional and Rare Barr Flight and Barr Worcester Egg Cruet Circa 1820.
Finely decorated with a gilt Greek Key pattern reserved upon a pale salmon ground with intricate gilt vermicelli. The circular cruet pierced with six holding bays for the removable egg cups, with a raised lip decorated with a gilt Greek Key pattern, a central gilded ring & foliate carrying handle, raised on a spreading circular foot with gilt rim. Inset with six egg cups each decorated with a corresponding pattern. Porcelain egg cruets are rarely seen, this example is in perfect and complete condition which is remarkable.
