An elegant early 19th century mahogany on a beechwood framed stool of country house proportions upholstered in a damask.
English circa 1830.
This wonderfully drawn stool takes is inspiration from the Rococo designs of the Georgian period. Well constructed having a beechwood frame and original beech corner braces.
Newly upholstered with a fine cream damask material with central carved cartouche raised on beautifully outspread cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf to the knee terminating on a French scrolled foot.
Of fine original colour and generous proportions.
