Edwardian Turquoise and Pearl Shamrock Brooch circa 1910.

A delightful Edwardian turquoise and pearl brooch.

This elegant round brooch has alternating pearl and cabochon turquoise set shamrocks mounted within an outer polished gold circle.

The textured shamrocks are beautifully figured and finely set with small pearls and turquoise stones to the centres.

This lovely brooch has a registered design mark stamped to the reverse and its original fitted case by Carrington & Co London. It is in perfect condition.

Shamrocks were given for good luck and were popular motifs in late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery.

Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920.

Measurements: Brooch 2.3cm in diameter, 2 grams in weight.

Hallmarks: Stamped 15CT with registered design mark.
