This delightful antique Edwardian sterling silver teapot has been modelled in the Queen Anne style onto a collet foot. The body is embellished with fluted decoration to the lower portion. The teapot is fitted with a hallmarked flush hinged cover, which also features fluted decoration to the domed portion and is topped by a wooden finial. The teapot is fitted with shaped wooden handle which has a scroll style thumbpiece. This fine teapot is fitted with a swan necked spout, ornamented to the underside with fluted decoration. The interior of this Queen Anne teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Dimensions: length from spout to handle, 8 inches, 20.32 cm, width 3.15 inches 8 cm , height to finial 4.50 inches 11.43 cm . The teapot holds 400 ml which is effectively 3 standard teacups.
