A beautiful Edwardian sapphire and diamond 'gypsy set' ring by Kochert.
The ring is mounted with 2 old cut diamonds and a cushion cut sapphire. The stones are in a gypsy setting within a rose gold tapered band. The design is easy to wear on an everyday basis.
The ring is almost certainly by the Austrian jeweller Kochert and has worn marks within the shank. We beleive it has been sized down at some point and has lost the Austrian gold mark which would have been on the reverse of the shank.
This stylish ring is beautifully low set to the hand and finely made as expected of a premier goldsmith.
