An elegant Edwardian opal ring.
This stylish ring has an oval cabochon opal in a fine claw setting.
The opal has a beautiful play of fire and a strong saturation of colour throughout. The setting is open to the reverse allowing the full beauty of the opal to be displayed.
The ring has a plain gold shank typical of the era.
Era: Edwardian, circa 1901 - 1920.
Measurements: Opal estimated 1.7 carats.
Head of ring 7 mm in width, 12 mm in length.
