A stylish pair of Edwardian garnet drop earrings.
These pretty earrings have 3 old cut almandine garnets each in a rubover setting with milgrain edge. The top stone is attached to the earring backs and has a loop linking the bottom section.
The drop is topped with a tiny diamond which catches the light when the earrings are being worn. The garnets are a beautiful bright colour and are well matched.
The earrings are finely made typical of the Edwardian era.
The earrings have their original screw fittings but could be converted to post and butterfly fittings for pierced ears if required. The screw fittings are signed MBCo for Murrle Bennett.
