An 18 carat gold small half hunter pocket watch by Thomas Russell of Liverpool.
The face with fine white enamel dial with applied Roman numerals, outer minute track and blue steel double spade hands. Front of the case has applied blue enamelled Roman numerals and inner minute track.
Both the front and reverse cases are beautifully engraved with intricate patterns and flowers and stylised initials to the centre of the reverse within a cartouche shield. The case opens to reveal hallmark for Birmingham 1905 18ct gold.
The interior of the reverse hinged cover is fully hallmarked and opens to reveal the hallmarked inner cover, which in turn opens to reveal the movement. Case interior 18 carat gold. English movement signed Russels Ltd. Weight 50.8grams.
