Early 19th century wheel barometer by F. Amadio & Son, 118 St John Street Road, London with a 10” silvered register, a bow-fronted alcohol thermometer, an hygrometer and a level in a rectangular bezel; the well-figured case with a fine tulipwood border and a swan’s-neck pediment.
*Francis Amadio and his son of the same name are known to have been working at this address from circa 1805 to 1840.
