An attractive Dutch bombé chest in figured walnut with fine marquetry inlay of birds and flowers, scalloped edge top & bottom frieze, oak lined drawers, panelled back and carved paw feet. The chest has been in England for some considerable time; please see photo of inside top drawer showing S & H Jewells of Holborn retailer’s stencil & the chest has 2 Victorian Barrons Patent locks.
