Chinese porcelain dish, circa 1740, Qianlong Period. Hand painted in famille rose, and iron red enamels, heightened in gilt, with a central panel with an array of objects placed amongst rocks, and flowering plants, including a vase, a censer, a scroll, and fruit in a jardiniere.
Having a broad border of a complex scroll, containing alternating panels of scrolling foliage, and flower heads upon a turquoise cell motif.
The rim with a continuous whorl motif, in iron red.
Two simple flower scrolls in iron red, adorn the reverse, around a burnt orange foot rim.
Diameter – 23 cm, 9 1/8”.
Condition – Typical very minor wear to the enamel. No damage. No restoration.
