Chinese Export Silver Goblet, with prunus decoration. The goblet weighs 258g and dates from around 1885. Marked WH for Wang Hing '宏兴‘ which was the biggest silver retailer to Westerners in China between the 1860s and 1940s, and the most well known and influential. The firm worked with over a hundred different silver makers, including this one ‘宝生’ (BaoSheng), probably in Hong Kong.
