A very rare teabowl and saucer decorated in the palmette pattern in yellow and purple, attributed to the ‘Pronk workshop’.
This is one of the rarest designs from the ‘Pronk workshop’. It is not directly attributed to Cornelis Pronk himself but elements from it are found in the Arbour pattern which is attributed to him.
The rim of that pattern has small palmettes on a similar ground as here, and the design on the back of the rim is similar to the outer border here.
