The elegant Goddess of Mercy modelled standing wearing loose fitting flowing robes, tied above the waist, a lotus pendant to her chest, her hair tied in an elaborate chignon set with a diadem enclosing a small figure of the Amitabha Buddha, her hands forming the gesture of explanation, vitarka mudra impressed four-character seal mark, PUJI YUREN mark within a square, Virtue extends to all, (even) fishermen.

By repute received in 1972 from P.J. Donelly, (author of Blanc De Chine, Faber & Faber, London, 1969) in exchange for a Kangxi blue and white ginger jar.
