Chinese blanc de Chine figure of Wang Zhaojun, holding a biwa and mounted on a horse, on a rectangular base incised with ruyi-head clouds, covered in a cream glaze.

- A similar larger group was included by Marchant in their exhibition of Blanc de Chine, 1985, no. 14, p. 12; another is included by John Ayers in Chinese Ceramics, The Koger Collection, no. 154, p.180.
- According to the Han Cong Chu, written by Ma Zhiyuan in the first quarter of the 14th century, Wang Zhaojun was a concubine of the Yuan Emperor. This model depicts her on her journey to the Emperor Huhanya in the North.
