Chinese blanc de Chine bottle vase with compressed body and cylindrical flared neck applied with a bifid-tailed chilong dragon holding a branch in its mouth, covered in a rich cream glaze.
4 ¾ inches, 12.2 cm high.

- Another, in Burghley House, England, is illustrated by Gordon Lang in Chinese and Japanese Porcelain from The Collection of the Earls of Exeter, 1984, no. 227, p. 88; a further example in The Dresden Inventory of the Royal Collections of Saxony in 1721, now in The Dresden Museum, Johannaeum no. N21, is described as ‘1 small bottle with a lizard round the slender neck’.
