Charles II Bobbin-turned Joined Oak Table.
England, Circa 1660.
Stamped with the maker’s initials EC, of unusual construction with bobbin turned frame with finials, with two mid-height stretchers and three lower stretchers on turned feet. Incorporating a frieze drawer with decorative punch work and lined with later mid-18th century Spitalfields (silk) paper designs in the manner of Anna Marie Garthwaite.
