Thomas Coulborn & Sons specialise in 18th-and 19th-century English and Continental furniture, gilt mirrors and works of art.
The company is run by Jonathan Coulborn, the grandson of Thomas and Mary Coulborn who founded the antiques business in the mid-1930s.
Fairs & Vetting
The company has exhibited at the British Antique Dealers' Association Fair since 2005
In 2009 the company exhibited at the 75th and final Grosvenor House Antiques Fair, winning the Gold Medal for Object of the Year.
From 2011 to 2013 they were amongst the exhibitors at The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, New York.
From 2015 to 2018 they exhibited at the Winter Antiques Show New York.
The company have taken part in Masterpiece, London since 2010.
In 2022 and 2023 they exhibited at TEFAF Maastricht.
In 2023 they will be participating in London Art Week.
Jonathan is currently a member of the BADA Council. He held the post of Chairman of the Council until 2015, having been Chairman of Vetting at the BADA Fair, and Chairman of the Fair from 2009 to 2011.
