The detachable lid hand painted in red 'TAIL BOMB' with worn and indecipherable letters and numbers either side of the original canvas handle. Retailing the original metal fixings which have developed crusty patina. The tops and bottom with metal banding. Original carrying handles. Original brown paint with wear. Ex British army or Air Force believed to be WW2 or possibly WW1.
