A beautiful lacquered wood Okimono depicting Jurojin (One of the Seven lucky Gods).
A Japanese, late 19th Century wood and lacquer figure of Jurojin. He is one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japanese mythology. In this Okimono he holds a begging bowl and gestures for money. His robes depict flowers on a lake at sunset and two simple phoenix one offering a bough of blossom to the other.
Condition is very good as per the images. There has been some minor and sympathetic restoration to one of his figures.
