A fine Barr Flight and Barr Worcester porcelain vase, Circa 1820.
The flared gilded rim with trailing harebell inner decoration over a vase shaped body with gilded serpent and eagle handles and white pearl collars, the front finely painted with a bird resting in a landscape portrayed in vivid colours, reserved upon a turquoise blue ground: the rear beautifully executed with a wide decorative gilded band of classical motifs. Raised on a gilded square foot. Fully marked under in red script:
Barr Flight & Barr Worcester London House. Flight & Barr Coventry Street. Manufacturers to their Majesties, Prince of Wales and Royal Family. Impressed Crown over BFB.
