A good condition 1930s antique Baktiari rug with an intricate floral medallion. Woven using soft colours, this is ideal for in front of a fireplace, study or hall to brighten up a space. A very durable little rug. The rugs of the nomadic Baktiari people are distinctive and easily recognisable by their special designs. The field of the rug is most commonly divided into squares or diamonds, each of which contains floral and or flowering plant motifs and occasionally animals.
