A very good and stylish Art Deco silver tea service made in 1936 by Adie Brothers of Birmingham. The tea service comprises a teapot with its matching sugar bowl and milk Jug. It is in excellent condition and still retains its original Bakelite handle and finial. The bottom of the teapot bears the original design registration mark for 1936 (Adie Brothers would have registered the design to stop competitors trying to copy it). The tea service is pictured with an octafoil pattern tray which can be purchased separately. The teapot has a capacity of 1.2 litres (just over 2.1 UK pints).
