A stylish Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.

This beautiful ring has an oval cut sapphire set to the centre within a square border and an  old cut diamond on either side. The sapphire is a lovely bright blue which is complemented by the white of the diamonds.

The head of the ring is in platinum and is rubover set within a millgrain (serrated) edge. The ring has a yellow gold shank and gallery typical of the 1920's

Typical of a ring from this era is it finely made and low set to the finger.

This would make a beautiful engagement ring.
