A beautiful Art Deco ruby and diamond set platinum wristwatch.
The white original face with black Arabic numerals, outer seconds track and inner black detail.
Blued steel leaf hands. This stylish watch has diamonds set around the bezel within a platinum border with square cut rubies set to 12 and 6.
The watch is attched to a meshwork gold strap with secure fastener by ruby and diamond set lugs.
Provenance: This watch has a date and initials inscribed to the reverse and was given as a wedding gift to the original owner in 1942.
Era: Art Deco, circa 1925 - 1940.
Movement: Swiss mechanical movement.
Measurements: Case diameter 34 mm.
Total diamond weight estimated 1.5 carats.
