A stunning large circular Art Deco Period Brooch by Henri Augis.

Formed as a hand hammered circular plate with lightly oxidised finish a decorated with a continuous wavy band of thick applied wire around the edge, the centre with a raised polished bosse with border of tightly coiled wire.

Henri Augis was an artisan maker of jewels and the piece has his script signature,makers poincon and French petit crabe assay mark for silver to the back of the piece.
