Art Deco Opal and Diamond Pendant circa 1930.
A fabulous Art Deco black opal and diamond pendant.
This elegant pendant has a central black opal with an incredible play of colour set within a fine diamond openwork panel.
The opal is in a claw setting open to the reverse and each diamond is rub-over set with a milgrain edge typical of the era.
The pendant has a diamond set bail for a chain or ribbon which is detachable, it has a screw fitting hole to the reverse and would have originally been designed to wear as a brooch or pendant.

Black opal estimated 2.0 carats - fabulous quality and play of colour.
