Arita porcelain ewer, Japan, circa 1690, Genroku Period. The ewer, painted in underglaze blue, with a scene of a figure, in a garden setting. The neck painted with scrolling foliage, beneath the nipped spout.
The loop handle, pierced, and painted with karakusa scroll.
