This exceptional Antique Victorian Silver Teapot is in the Queen Anne style, Sterling Britannia (95.8% pure). The pot is of circular pear shaped, plain panelled octagonal form, onto an octagonal foot. The teapot has a panelled swan necked spout.
The surface of the teapot is plain and unembellished . The hinged lid is surmounted by a wooded and silver finial and the wooden handle has a carved scroll style thumbpiece and it is mounted on a plain silver socket.
This Teapot was used in the film " The Favourite" which was an Oscar winning film.
