Antique Silver George III Wine Coaster 1773 Richard Meach of London.
A fine early George III period wine coaster made in 1773 by Richard Meach of London. The coaster is a nice large size for the period and an excellent gauge of silver with a fine rope work border. The coaster is pierced with slats and crosslets and to one side their is a vacant oblong cartouche. The coaster still retains it’s original mahogany wood base with a silver button to the middle and is in excellent condition throughout.
