A stylish Silver George III Teapot with matching stand made in London in 1804/5 by Crispin Fuller. The teapot is of shaped oval form with delicate fluting and retains it’s original stand which has a mahogany insert to the underneath to prevent heat transference on to the table. The teapot stand bears the date letter for 1804 and the teapot for 1805 with both pieces being made by Crispin Fuller who was apprenticed to the famous lady silversmith Hester Bateman and married her granddaughter Letitia. The teapot still retains it’s original handle and finial which matches the shape of the body. The teapot was made in the year of the battle of Trafalgar.
