A very fine quality Silver George III Sugar Basket of vase shape made in London in 1783 by Samuel Meriton. The basket is on a circular foot with beaded borders and a swing handle and is in super condition and with a very solid feel as it of a substantial gauge of silver. It is clearly hallmarked on the side and correctly part hallmarked on the handle.
