A rare Antique Silver George III Snuffer Tray made by the famous lady silversmith Hester Bateman in 1779. It is of oval shape with a beaded edge with two loop handles to each end. This is quite a rare item as Hester Bateman made few candlestick related items. Although originally a tray to place snuffers or wick trimmers on it would be perfect as a high class pen tray!
