A fine Antique silver George III mug made in 1776 by Hester Bateman. This mug made by the celebrated workshop of Hester Bateman is in lovely condition and was made in the year of the signing of the American Treaty of Independence. It will hold approximately 425 ml (.75 UK pints) and is plain and unengraved with a cast scroll handle.
