A lovely early George II brandy saucepan made in London in 1737 by George Greenhill Jones.
The saucepan still retains its original fruitwood handle and also the front is engraved with the crest of the original owner.
The arrangement of the crest ie being inside a lozenge shape indicates that the original owner was a lady.
The crest is slightly worn due to nearly 300 years of cleaning.
